Home / Services
Nine services. Each with a spec, a lead time and a failure condition.
Every service below states what it produces, how long it takes, what it must satisfy before it ships, and the circumstances under which we will tell you not to buy it. That last field is the one usually missing from pages like this.
Gap audit
Runs first, always, before anything is purchased
Pool the referring domains of the four URLs currently outranking your target page. De-duplicate. Subtract yours. What remains is the gap, and the gap is the scope of everything that follows.
In most SaaS categories the number lands between 40 and 120 domains. That figure sets monthly volume, programme length and price — in that order. Anyone quoting a link count before running this subtraction has derived the number from their own capacity rather than your situation.
Delivered as a spreadsheet with a ranked route per domain. Free, and yours to keep whether or not you continue.
- input
- target URL, primary keyword, read-only Search Console
- lead time
- 7–10 working days
- output
- ranked gap list with likelihood, effort and route per domain
- refresh
- quarterly — competitors keep acquiring
- price
- free, no contract required
Editorial outreach
The core module — everything else is weighting
Manual outreach to a named editor at a publication with a verifiable readership in your category. One pitch, one angle, written to their beat. We draft, you approve before submission, and the link sits inside the argument rather than in a bio line.
Every candidate runs the nine spec checks first. About 67% fail and are written to the rejection log with a reason code. You see the log monthly, including the months where it makes us look slow.
- output
- 6–20 verified contextual placements / month
- lead time
- 21–40 days, pitch to live URL
- tolerance
- ≥1,000 verified organic sessions; topical overlap ≥0.60
- rejection rate
- ~67%, logged with reason codes
- market ref
- guest placements average $220–$609 industry-wide
Niche edits
Faster to register, capped at 35% by policy
Placement inside an article that is already indexed and already receives traffic. The host page carries existing authority and crawl frequency, so insertions register faster than a fresh contributed post.
We buy only where the surrounding paragraph makes the link genuinely useful, and we cap the module at roughly a third of monthly volume. A profile built mainly of edits looks exactly like a profile built mainly of edits — the pattern is not subtle once you have more than twenty of them.
- output
- 3–8 / month, blended with module 02
- lead time
- 7–18 days
- pre-check
- host page must already rank and receive traffic
- policy cap
- ≤35% of monthly volume
- market ref
- insertions average ≈$141 industry-wide
Digital PR
The only module that earns links outreach cannot buy
Mine your product telemetry, or run a panel survey, and publish the number your category argues about without evidence. Then take it to the journalists and analysts who cover your space.
Different economics from outreach: higher cost up front, then eight to fourteen months of continued accrual with no further spend. On a twelve-month view it is usually the best-returning line in the programme, and on a three-month view it looks like the worst.
- output
- 1 story / quarter; 8–40 earned links per story
- lead time
- 5–7 weeks from data access to launch
- input
- anonymised product data, or budget for a 300+ panel
- secondary
- unlinked mentions, expert commentary, analyst pickup
- skip if
- no usable data and no panel budget
Linkable assets
Concepted against measured demand, not a brainstorm
Benchmarks, calculators, free micro-tools, glossaries. We find what your category already cites, count the citations and their sources, and build the version that is missing. Where nothing comparable earns links, we say so and move the budget.
At smaller budgets this is frequently the strongest single lever available — one asset outperforms four months of thin outreach, and it keeps working after the engagement ends.
- output
- 1 asset / quarter on the scale tier
- lead time
- 3–10 weeks depending on complexity
- includes
- concept, build, copy, structure, launch outreach
- ownership
- yours, permanently, on your domain
- skip if
- three competitors already rank for the same asset
Round-up placement
The SaaS-specific module; produces demos, not rankings
Getting you listed accurately and high in "best tools for", "top alternatives to", integration directories and category round-ups — the pages a buyer opens right before shortlisting.
Half the work is inclusion; half is correcting listings that describe your product as it was two years ago. The second half is unglamorous and usually the fastest measurable win in the whole programme.
This module is why we sequence it first. It reports something real in month two, while everything else is still warming up.
- audit
- 60–200 round-ups mapped per category
- actions
- inclusion, correction, position improvement, new round-up seeding
- market ref
- paid inclusion typically $350–$750 per round-up
- disclosure
- every paid placement labelled in your sheet
- measured on
- referral demo requests, not rank
Profile cleanup
Sometimes the correct first quarter is subtraction
When a site arrives carrying previous agency work, we classify what is there before adding to it. Every referring domain categorised, footprints clustered by host, template and outbound pattern, anchor distribution mapped against where it should be.
Output is a removal list, a disavow file and a rebalancing plan. On roughly one engagement in five the honest recommendation for quarter one is to buy nothing and clean up instead — an uncomfortable invoice that we send anyway, because acquisition on a damaged profile buys a defended position rather than an improved one.
- audit
- full classification + footprint clustering + anchor mapping
- deliverable
- removal list, disavow file, rebalancing plan
- duration
- 2–4 weeks audit; one quarter if remediation needed
- included in
- every tier, run before acquisition starts
- standalone
- available as a one-off, no retainer
Verification records
The artefact that makes the rest auditable
Every placement ships with a record: live URL, anchor text, the paragraph the link sits in, do-follow status, the referring page's own organic traffic, and the date it was first indexed. Written to your shared sheet on the day it goes live.
This is not reporting. Reporting is a summary produced at month end and it can only be believed. A verification record can be spot-checked on any Tuesday, which is a different relationship entirely.
Nothing is invoiced before its record exists and the index check has passed at day 30.
- fields
- URL · anchor · paragraph · rel · referring-page traffic · index date
- written
- on publication day, not at month end
- format
- live shared sheet, permanently open to you
- also includes
- the rejection log, with reason codes
- billing gate
- not billable until live, indexed and verified
Monitoring & warranty
Twelve months, weekly, automatic
Every URL we have ever delivered for you is recrawled weekly for twelve months. Removals, no-follow flips, de-indexations and 404s are flagged within seven days and replaced at no cost.
Links decay. Sites get sold, editors prune archives, contributors leave and their pages go with them. A service with no clause covering this has quietly moved the entire decay risk onto the client.
One carve-out, and it is reasonable: breakage you cause by deleting or migrating the page we linked to is not ours to fix.
- frequency
- weekly automated recrawl
- window
- 12 months from publication
- triggers
- removal · no-follow flip · de-index · 404 · publisher offline
- remedy
- replacement placement, no additional charge
- exclusion
- breakage caused by changes to your own page
Linkproof cat pricing.json
Published, per tier and per link
Tiers run $2,900 to $13,500+ a month depending on which modules are loaded. The blended unit price and the 2026 market data to calibrate it against are both on the front page.
